Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP)

What is PRP?

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) treatment is a technique that consists of using blood plasma (a blood component) itself as a generator of skin cell regenerating factors. A small amount of blood is taken from the patient. It is then centrifuged in a specific device, where it is transformed into PRP and acquires characteristics that promote the production of collagen. Finally, it is injected into the skin or other areas to be treated.

What is it used for?

It is indicated to improve skin tone, sagging and small wrinkles. It is also used to stimulate hair follicles in cases of alopecia (hair loss) and to improve scars and stretch marks.

When will I notice results?

Results are visible 1 month after the procedure. The treatment plan usually consists of sessions 1 to 4 months apart.
